Undertaking research – the words you use

When undertaking research it is very important to use words that get the best results and these words may not be the actual words that you start your initial search with.

So for example, you get asked a question like; “I need to find who makes bird cages in Australia?”. You type that into your search engine (Google) you will get a set of results that include results with the words bird cage in it. What different types of results would you get if you used the word aviaries instead of bird cage? A different set of results.

Soo important to always think of synonyms when you are doing your research.
