    Creating knowledge is an important part of the Information Lifecycle, but the information that goes into knowledge creation is often overlooked.

    Information can come from anywhere. It can come from conversations, media, technical papers, legal judgements, from industry reports or company information. But what is important is the quality of this information. Is the information qualified? Has the information been thoroughly researched? Are the sources authentic?

    This is an important step, because using information that hasn’t been qualified to create knowledge brings risks to your organisation, to your employees and your clients.
